My Favorite Yoga Props, Books & Oracle Cards

Today, I want to share some of my absolute favorite yoga props and books that have made a significant impact on my practice. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, these tools can enhance your experience and support your journey. 1. Yoga Blocks
These particular blocks are very sturdy without being heavy. I find them to be a bit more stable than other ones that are thinner on the skinniest side. [Get yours here]
2. Yoga Blanket
I really like this particular type because they're 100% cotton, making them firm when folded yet soft when used as a cover for savasana or restorative poses. [Check it out here]
3. Yoga Mat
I highly recommend Manduka Yoga Mats. This is the same brand and model of the yoga mat I use. I love its grip, smoother texture, and weight. I've had this mat for a number of years with no signs of deterioration or wear. And it's easy to clean! [Find a great mat here]
4. Yoga Strap
I especially recommend this style of yoga strap because it has a D-ring clasp that is easy to use and doesn't pinch your hand. [Grab one here]
5. Yoga Chair
Perfect for seated poses and added support, a yoga chair is a fantastic addition to your practice. This is the type of chair I use in both studio and online classes. These are great because they’re fairly lightweight and fold when not in use. [See it here]
6. Sandbag - Filled
I just love using sandbags in restorative yoga classes and also during savasana of any class. I recommend purchasing a filled sandbag if possible. That way, you don't have to try to find fill material for them. [Check them out here]
7. Eye Pillow
An eye pillow can enhance relaxation during savasana or meditation. [Get yours here]
8. Pilates Ball
I frequently use these balls for doing different yoga poses in my in-person and online classes. [Find one here]
9. Pinky Ball
I use these frequently to aid myofascial release. I use them in both my in-person and online classes. [Grab one here]
10. Bolsters
- Round Bolster: Perfect for deep support in restorative poses. [Get one here]
- Flat Bolster: Excellent for various restorative and yin yoga poses. I also use these for seated meditations. [Check it out here]
11. Ergonomic Yoga Blocks
I do have some students who have wrist problems who really like these blocks. These change the position of the wrist to take pressure off for certain poses. [Get yours here]
