🌕 Honoring Isis & Snake Medicine: Reflections from Our May Lunar Women’s Circle
Lisa Lawley | MAY 20, 2025

At our May Lunar Women’s Circle, we gathered in sacred space to explore the tender and transformative theme of forgiveness. As always, the circle offered an invitation to soften, reflect, and connect—both with one another and with our own healing journeys.
Guiding us this month were two powerful allies: the Egyptian goddess Isis and the ancient spirit of Snake. Together, they illuminated a path inward—one woven with compassion, remembrance, and release.
We opened the circle with the energy of Isis, the great mother and healer of Egyptian mythology. Isis is a goddess of magic, resurrection, and sacred knowing. She reminds us that nothing is too broken to heal. Her mythic story—gathering the scattered pieces of her beloved Osiris and restoring him to life—is a powerful metaphor for the way we gently bring our own fragmented selves back into wholeness.
In the spirit of forgiveness, Isis encouraged us to reclaim the parts of ourselves we may have cast aside. To honor our pain without letting it define us. To let light return to the spaces we’ve kept hidden.
Isis whispers:
“Beloved one, you are not broken. You are becoming. Let the light return to your heart.”
We also welcomed the spirit of Snake, a sacred symbol of transformation and cyclical healing. Snake medicine teaches us to release the old skin—the outdated beliefs, lingering guilt, or heavy emotional patterns—that no longer serve our growth.
Snake reminds us that forgiveness is not always about others. Sometimes it’s about shedding the burden of our own self-judgment and allowing spaciousness to return. With every layer we release, we make room for clarity, vitality, and truth.
Snake whispers:
“You are safe to grow. Let the old fall away. You do not need to carry it anymore.”
Through gentle restorative movement, Reiki-infused meditation, and a heart-centered cord-cutting practice, we explored what it means to release with love. This wasn’t about forcing forgiveness or rushing to heal—but instead about honoring the process, supported by community and sacred intention.
Forgiveness, as Isis and Snake reminded us, is a sacred spiral. One we return to again and again, each time a little softer, a little freer.
If this reflection resonates with your heart, we invite you to join us for the next Lunar Women’s Circle. Each month we gather to rest, reflect, and reconnect—with ourselves, with one another, and with the sacred energies that walk beside us.
