This past weekend, we gathered for our March Lunar Women’s Circle, creating space to slow down, reflect, and connect. Each month, our theme unfolds in its own way—sometimes through inspiration, sometimes through intuition, and sometimes through divine guidance.

After our February focus on Lovingkindness, I found myself searching for the right theme to guide us forward. When I wasn’t sure which direction to take, I turned to the Goddess Oracle deck—and the answer came in the form of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion.

It felt like the perfect continuation of what we explored last month. If Lovingkindness is the warmth of the sun, Compassion is the deep waters that hold and soothe. It is the ability to witness suffering—our own and others’—without turning away, without judgment, without carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders.

As we moved through our gathering, we explored different ways of embodying compassion—through meditation, reflection, and discussion. Some felt drawn to the gentle presence of Kuan Yin, while others connected more with the Hummingbird as a spirit guide for compassion, reminding us that softness and joy can go hand in hand.

Our time together was a beautiful reminder that compassion is not just something we offer others—it is something we must also extend to ourselves. It is not about depletion, but about balance. About knowing when to hold space and when to rest, when to give and when to receive.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to explore these themes more deeply, I invite you to continue the journey with us. Over the next two posts, I’ll be sharing more about Kuan Yin’s wisdom and the animal medicine of Hummingbird—two powerful guides for cultivating compassion in different ways.

And, as always, if this resonates with you, we welcome you to join us for our next Lunar Women’s Circle. You can learn more and register here:
